How does Promoted by Host work?

This program allows hosts to bid for premium placement at the top of selected keyword search results in their city. The top three highest bids secure placement from the first to the last day of the designated promotional month—hello, extra visibility!

How much does it cost?

The minimum bid varies based on keyword search volume. Please review the bid form for details. You can submit a bid amount that fits your budget.

What performance metrics can I track?

How do I monitor my performance?

All performance insights will be delivered via email at the end of the pilot. Stay tuned!

When will I see results?

Your listing(s) will go live on the date outlined in your bid form, and you will begin seeing an increase in impressions and views right away. More eyeballs means more booking potential. 👀

How does the bidding process work?

This is a closed bidding process, meaning hosts won’t see other bids. The top three highest bids are selected for placement.

How can I maximize bookings during the pilot?

Showcase your best image: First impressions matter! Pick a cover photo that highlights the most eye-catching view of your space. Would you “swipe right” on your listing?
Price it right: Some hosts lower their rates to attract more bookings during the pilot.

What if I have multiple listings?

If your bid wins, our team will contact you to confirm which listing(s) you’d like to promote. Each keyword can have a different listing, so choose wisely!

Can I change my bid after submitting?

Yes! Update your bid any time prior to the submission deadline.

What happens if I win a bid?

If you win, you’ll receive an invoice for full payment with a payment deadline. Your promoted listing(s) will only go live once payment is secured.

How will I know if my bid was selected?

We’ll notify winning hosts via email once bidding closes. Keep an eye on your inbox—you may have just landed a front-row seat in search results!
